* If you have a wider tip of toe or area of the finger (such as a knuckle), take a second measurement of the widest area. If there is a big difference (a full size or more), order a 1/2 size smaller than the largest measurement.

*  Take the "measurement tool" and lay it flat on a millimeter ruler and obtain the millimeter or inch readings.  Converting inches to millimeters would be helpful.

* To use a ruler wrap a "measurement tool" (i.e., piece of string, dental floss, strip of paper) around your toe, finger or thumb at the location where you will wear the ring. Mark the "measurement tool" where the two pieces meet. This is your  first measurement.
