Have been a patient for over 3-1/2 years and my experience with this company has been horrible. It is a poorly run, they have lied about blood pressure readings and other things and won't cooperate with people.
They literally used me as a lab rat and almost killed me, I am going to be finding a different provider. They were fine and fantastic when I had a good nursing staff but I no longer have that so I will be leaving.

Even allowed us to make an appointment to meet the staff and view and train on their equipment prior to us actually having everything transferred. They're coordination nurses answered all million of my questions and addressed all our concerns with polite and kind answers. They offered us a 24hr phone number for any questions and concerns before and during treatment with then. And unlike Fressenius, they listened to us and were willing to adjust policies to accommodate my mom's particular medical needs.
Mom passed away in 2020, I want a copy of the dialysis record for an investigation into the staff finding my mother on the floor next to a dialysis chair naked from the waist down. I asked for this to be investigated in 2020. I was never told the result of the investigation.
No matter how many times we try to get resolution. They just continue to ignore our concerns and complaints and do whatever they want instead.
They shortened the lines on the cassette and didn't tell nobody now I can barely make it to the toilet and my drain line sticks up in the air which can cause me to fall the are still showing the 20 foot hoses on the order form so I think they are ripping off the insurance company I see a lawsuit if I fall

I just feel that they arent very friendly they change appointments without notifying anyone theyve put medication in her bag without saying a work about it to the patient or their caregiver I dont want to mention my family members name cause I dont want to make things worse for the patient its not they have a choice without the treatment him/her will die ! I just think the workers need to be compassionate its not as if the patients have much of a choice !

They have over 4,000 lawsuits as we speak and we found out that their doctors don't know how to mix the ingredients on the machines. Because of that, it has caused patients death, heart attacks and strokes due to their negligence.
One example of this is them cutting the patient line by half so almost none of their patients on PD Can use the bathroom while on the cycler. Although people are on the machine for 9+ hours.

We can't wait to get switched over. Being on dialysis and having polycimystic kidney disease is stressful and hard enough on a person's body and mind. Having a terrible facility with less than sub-par attributes makes it so much worse. Patients living with this type of disease need compassion, understanding, commitment, and support.
Not sure if it's the Houston way or just the clinics I've been a patient at, but much of the staff fails to communicate care plan, scheduling changes, equipment errors that impedes the care received, and so on. At best, this is caused by inefficient time management or chaos that erupts every so often due to a patients health crisis. At worst (and where I lean more towards), whether due to incompetence or malice, their lack of communication is deliberate.

I never have a nurse very long they travel in and out one or two months 3 months than they're gone I've had one of them to tell me to do I've had actually two of them to tell me to do practices that were One was completely against the rules because of safety hazards she wanted me to in a severe bout of diarrhea put a bedpan in my chair and continue to do my cannulation I do my home treatments at home That's a no no anybody that does dialysis knows you cannot have fecal matter anywhere near it has to be an aseptic environment okay secondly I've had one when the power went off to my house I called in and she told me to take the saline bag down in the dark and squeeze that bag until I got my blood back That's when I told that to my doctor he was appalled because he said that is very dangerous could have killed me and that it was outdated in the '80s I believe so then the last latest episode is they I've been having heart problems I have a monitor on I was sent to the emergency room for having palpitations on the machine which is very dangerous I was told to go the emergency room so I did they told me to call to the on call nurse and let her know when I called her she had the nerve to tell me she was not a night person and could we talk about this tomorrow and I'm in the emergency room !!so it's inadequate care as in health care and inadequate care as in these people do not care I'm already trying to find another clinic because I feel like they're going to let me die. The doctor there is great but he takes a lot of vacations this time he's been gone I mean about a month I guess and every time he leaves I go straight down because he has a terrible fresenius has terrible practices and the nurses just don't care they don't care so I would not advise anybody to use for seniors kidney care and I hate to say that because I really really believed in my team until I started seeing all of these things that are not only against the rules but they're absolutely dangerous they are life-threatening they don't order my supplies when needed I was told last week that my vena for iron that I give to myself three times a week to keep me from being anemic basically I was told it was ordered when I got on my patient hub this morning I realize that it has not been ordered and that has the only not been ordered it they need a new prescription so now when I looked at my lab work my red blood cells my white blood cells and my hemoglobin are right back down low again so it is a relentless cycle of inadequacy or I think it's gone past that I mean the things these people have done to me or had me do to myself at our just not only appalling is disgusting and it kills people there are people that are on dialysis at that place for 2 to 3 years and they're dying that is unacceptable so that's the reason for my review

Raina, no one picked up the phone. When I contacted the national HQ for Fresenius, they tried to connect me but said that no one was in the office and to call them later, but when I called the number they gave me, it was a fax number! I tried to contact Fresenius Medina for several days and no one picked up the phone. I couldnt leave a voicemail.

The technicians are not trained that well. Nurses/staff act hostile, they break the law and refuse to give patients blood pressure medications when needed. They cannot be trusted and think they are above the law because they are a billion dollar company. Also have found out they are paying off other organizations so they don't get in trouble.
I keep getting nurses and many of them care but none of them last more than 4 months before they leave the company completely. And all of them for the same reason each nurse is working at 3 to 5 different complexes with at least 100 patients per complex. They only care about what their bosses tell them to or else they will lose their jobs. This is completely wrong because many of them truly care about their patients but they also have bills to pay so they are caught in a catch-22 of toe the line or be fired and they stop caring about individual patients.
They think they are better than you and talk condensendly to you. And if you don't kiss their *** they will blackball you from treatment and call their friends and lie in their notes and pretty much screw your life up.
This company is based on profit. You will get good nurses and good doctors, but they have to follow the corporate guidelines, which makes your medical treatment feel more like a full-time job or two, the company does not care about your ability to live it cares about how long you live so your insurance keeps paying out.

We have been with Fressenius since December 2022. And they have never made any attempt to rectify their aggregious actions.
*** with the amount of patients they have they don't even have time to try and care about the individual because there's too many of us.
My location is great but the company manufacturing the supplies is not great to say the least. They make huge changes to the supplies without any notice and have no solutions to challenges they introduce.
We want other patients and potential new patients to know how corrupt and poorly this company operates. This company cannot be trusted and they should be investigated by the attorney generals office.
Imagine reading this about your mother and you burst into tears every time you remember this horrible incident. I really need to find out who was responsible and if the dialysis center revised their policy to prevent this from ever happening again to any patient.

If one refuses to listen or pass your concerns to someone who can point you in the right find someone who will even if that means reaching out to the hotline or whatever you must did to ensure you're receiving adequate care that meets their written standards.
