To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

The NRH-SYM acoustic headphone adapter is designed for use MRI scanners that have their own existing patient sound system and a headphone jack that looks like a small 90-degree angled plug. The single mono plastic plug style headphone port is common to most of the Siemens MRI scanners, and the main difference is generally the location of the headphone port. The older Siemens units had a headphone tube that was located on the side of the sliding patient bed and most of the newer Siemens MRI units had a similar headphone port that was positioned further away from the magnet, at the foot end of the sliding patient table. The single tube port audio connection provides mono audio for the MRI headphones.

We are often asked which adapter is needed based on the model of the Siemens MRI unit, but we have found it best to check your unit to first find the location of the headphone port. If your aluminum headphone port is located down at the end of the bed, furthest from the magnet area, then you will need our NRH-SYM adapter because it has a long length of tubing that is nearly 2-meters in length. You will want to trim away the excess amount of tubing, because that will help to improve the sound. If your headphone port is up close to the magnet with the tube sticking out of a port on the side of the patient bed, then you will want to order the NRH-ADP type of adapter so you're not paying for all the extra tubing that will ultimately be trimmed away.
