Through our Principles of Therapeutic Education, pupils at the targeted and intense level of the Triangle of Interventions receive Speech and language, Creative arts psychotherapy, and Occupational therapy. We work with clinical/educationalist psychologists, CAHMs services and animal therapies to properly support each pupil.
Our award-winning LIFE programme teaches our pupils confidence and resilience, the principles of Leadership, Independence, Future options & employability, and Empowerment. We build self-esteem through weekly assemblies, Group Process sessions, and reflective time, encouraging pupils to flourish in school and succeed as adults. We offer qualifications in Peer Mentoring (Level 2) and English Speaking Board.
Learning can only happen when pupils feel safe enough to take risks and open up to challenges. We use a therapeutic approach based in neuroscience to support our pupils to move from the âsurvivalâ to the âthinkingâ part of their brain. A variety of therapeutic methods can encourage emotional and social growth and create a joy for learning.
