I prefer to select line to reuse my frame member because the "Ref" part will chance in size multiple times and when selecting points it doesnt respond as desired.

When im trying to reuse one of the frame members on exactly the same line as the origin member is attached to it gives me the following warning. or better said the empty warning.

And to Answer your Question if i use merged members: im using single extrusions and nothing has been merged in these frame members.

Hi! Just an update to the issue. The project team has confirmed that the fix can be ported to 2021. We are investigating how we may include the fix in the future update to 2021.

I just checked the latest status for  INVGEN-50881. It shows that the process of porting the fix to 2021.3.3 is on the way. The patch might be available some time in September this year

i was just wondering what the status of the problem is at the moment? i would like to finish my model but i realy need this function working.

Hi! The defect was reported as INVGEN-50881. The latest status shows that it has been fixed on 2022.1 update. I will work with the project team and see if the fix can be ported to 2021.

To give a little more explaination, im using Ref.ipt as a way to make multiple parts resize and create an element. Im using some rules to pull some data from excel and let it chance the size of Ref.ipt and so the size of the parts.
