Vibha Chaswal performed various quality assurance tests on the MV CBCT and flat panel imaging capabilities of a Siemens Oncor Linac at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics as a medical physics resident. This included flat panel gain calibration and dead pixel mapping to correct for differences in diode response and non-responsive pixels. MV CBCT calibration was done using a geometry calibration phantom every six months, acquiring projection images to determine ball bearing positions and fit calibration matrices. Image quality tests assessed geometry accuracy, uniformity, noise, and low/high contrast resolution using phantoms and passing criteria.Read less
