The Moncaro Rosso Piceno Geos is wonderfully dry for wine enthusiasts. This red wine is never coarse or austere, as you would expect from a wine in the upper price range. The texture of this well-balanced red wine is wonderfully velvety on the palate. Thanks to the balanced fruit acidity, the Rosso Piceno Geos flatters the palate with a pleasing sensation without lacking freshness. The finish of this youthful red wine from the Marche wine-growing region delights with a beautiful aftertaste.

This organic red wine from Italy is best enjoyed at 15 - 18°C as an accompaniment to leek soup, spaghetti with caper and tomato sauce or vegetable stew with pesto.

The basis for the balanced Rosso Piceno Geos from Italy are grapes from the Montepulciano and Sangiovese grape varieties. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in large oak barrels at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by ageing on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
