After Cardinal was allegedly seen breaching her release order on Oct. 19, 2024, police attempted to arrest her for failing to comply with the release order.

Edmonton police found 33-year-old Travis Cardinal in Eastwood Park on Aug. 11, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The man was taken to hospital but later died of his injuries.

Wetaskiwin RCMP is asking for public assistance in locating Cardinal. If you have information regarding her whereabouts, contact the Wetaskiwin RCMP at 780-312-7267.

Cardinal is currently wanted for assaulting a police officer, resisting arrest and failing to comply with a release order.

On March 29, 2024, 31-year-old Talsa Ashlee Cardinal, a resident of Wetaskiwin, was released on bail with conditions out of the Edmonton Police Service. The conditions included a 24-hour curfew.
