Rumors around Volkswagen Group intra brand sharing have suggested that the upcoming Q3 will share a fair deal with the next-generation Cupra Terramar. And while we’ve published Q3 test mule photos before, comparing them with these latest photos of the Cupra Terramar give us a better idea of just how much sharing will be done… or perhaps where more extreme variants such as the RS Q3 may also end up in final form. #Audi #AudiClubNA #AudiQ3

Recently I had the chance to visit the high-end luxury car assembly lines of two German car makers, Audi and Mercedes, making the Audi A8 and the Maybach respectively. The feel of these plants is more about craftsmanship than mass production, quite different from "normal" cars. Audi #allaboutlean #operationalexcellence #leanmanufacturing #leansixsigma

BIG News @ Dacia! Deeply honored and thrilled to introduce the All-New #DaciaBigster! Following an intense and persistent effort from all at Dacia, the first C-SUV member of the Dacia family is finally revealed. Robust design, modern technology, enhanced comfort, versatility and of course great value. What else? Bigster is a true C-SUV that embodies perfectly the Dacia DNA. Instead of publishing some of the great photos or videos that have been created by our teams, I have decided to illustrate this post with 2 pictures of our Chief Design Officer David Durand as he was drawing the Bigster while being interviewed by a journalist during the pre-show we organized a few days ago in Berlin. Proud and honored to work with such a inspiring pro ! #ProudInDacia #CSUV #Automobile #Dacia

Lot 25 1962 Porsche 356 Carrera 2000 GS Artcurial Retromobile Show Estimation 350,000 - 450,000 € Italian title Chassis No 121542 Engine No P97231 - Only two owners for the past 40 years - Extremely rare example delivered new in Italy - Powerful and exclusive model This car has several outstanding features that are sure to attract the attention of enthusiasts. Firstly, this particular car was one of 103 examples in the B version out of the 204 coupe 356 2000 GS examples produced, according to figures from the Porsche archives. Also, it's had only two owners in the last 40 years. Its history is known thanks to its "Kardex", as well as the document issued by the Automobile Club d'Italia which specified the chain of ownership. This car was therefore sold new in Genoa to Dr. Leo Biaggi de Blasys as a gift to his 20-years old daughter Marina. As an Italo-Swiss industrialist and philanthropist, Dr. Biaggi was also a numismatist and his antique coin collection was known as one of the most important in the world. Originally Ivory white with red interior, a rather classy specification and a perfect fit for a young wealthy woman, this Porsche had its first registration on the 8th October 1962. It then changed hands six times while remaining in the same region of Italy, between Liguria and Lombardy. It was then purchased in 1979 by Michael Lederman, an American specialist in 356 Carrera living in Parma. Renowned for his passion throughout the world for this model, he created the first Italian Porsche owners club in the late 1970s and was the founding member of the Italian 356 Registry in 1982. While in Lederman's possession, this car was repainted in black, possibly because white on red interior wasn't anymore fashionable at the time and the interior was redone in the same colour, with leather seats and upholstery consistent with the original model. Furthermore, the original engine was replaced by one from the same type (bearing number 97251) and fully restored with original components. #classic #classics #classiccars #collectorcars #carcollectors #historic #vintage #performance #racing #rallying #driving #car #cars #automotiveindustry #auto #autos #autoindustry #auction #forsale #sold #automotive #investment #privatesale
The car is listed as a 1931 in the catalogue, but is without question a 1961 Alfa Guilia SS. And a gorgeous little example, is it not?! 1961 ALFA ROMEO GIULIA SS LOT 37 Estimate: 80,000 - 120,000 EUR Claude Aguttes AGUTTES - Auction House Alfa Romeo 1961 Alfa Romeo Giulia SS French registration title The Sprint Speciale was one of the most beautiful and sought-after Alfa Romeo models of the 1960s; 1,366 of the Giulietta (1300) and Giulia (1600) versions were produced, the 1600 being the rarest and most sought-after, with only 114 models built. With its bold, streamlined lines designed by Franco Scaglione for Bertone, and a very low coefficient of drag, its engine enabled it to approach 200 km/h, despite being overweight as a result of the heavy steel bodywork The car was restored at great expense (more than €100,000 in invoices, file on request) between 2016 and 2019, with the body completely stripped bare (traces of an old impact on the left front spar), and all the mechanical parts completely dismantled and rebuilt according to the rules of the trade. The file that accompanies the car also includes a full summary of the work carried out and some sixty photos that show the quality and care that went into the restoration, starting from a very sound rolling base Alfa Romeo Sprint Speciale cars are rare on the market, and this example, offered at a particularly attractive price given the extensive restoration work it has undergone, will appeal to the most demanding enthusiast, and to lovers of one of the finest Italian designs of the 1960s. #classic #classics #classiccars #collectorcars #carcollectors #historic #vintage #performance #racing #rallying #driving #car #cars #automotiveindustry #auto #autos #autoindustry #auction #forsale #sold #automotive #investment #privatesale

Yesterday was the official premiere of BUGATTI Tourbillon - an exquisite masterpiece of modern car industry. Probably one of the most exclusive cars that you can buy right now. I know that you are already excited but you are also probably wondering, why I am writing about BUGATTI in LinkedIn? No, unfortunately I am not buying one, but as a car fan and enthusiast, I watched the revealing event with great interest and passion. And the more you read, listen and learn about the car, the more you understand what a technical and engineering marvel the team from Molsheim developed. But this post is not about the car itself but about something that Mate Rimac, the CEO of Bugatti Rimac, said in one of his interviews: "𝘉𝘶𝘨𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘪 𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘨𝘦, 𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘧𝘵𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱, 𝘲𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘰𝘤𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘤, 𝘪𝘵’𝘴 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘶𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘭𝘥." So even though the car employs the latest car tech you can think of such as high-performance electric motors and batteries, 3D printed suspension, carbon fiber monocoque etc., most of the tech remains hidden and subtle. The center stage goes to the absolutely unfathomable V16 engine🤯 and the fully analogue gauges, produced by a high-end Swiss watch manufacturer. So the question here is what makes something timeless? Well maybe it’s not exactly the technology per se. In the era of mass production, fast fashion, AI generated content and virtual everything, it is no surprising why everything seems to get obsolete in a couple of years and even months. So doing a technology detox and going back to the basics actually makes sense, especially for such a unique car brand. “𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘛𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘺 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘰𝘧𝘧 𝘢𝘵 𝘗𝘦𝘣𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘉𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘥𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘳 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘴𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘯𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘮𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘯 𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘣𝘭𝘺 𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘯 10 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳’𝘴 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦." 👉 So what’s my point here. Don’t follow blindly the tech trends! Technologies like AI now may be changing our reality pretty quickly but we as a humans should always save a place in our hearts for the true artisan craftsmanship and beauty. And whatever you are building right now – whether it is a software, a physical product or an art, do not think about what will be demanded only today. Try always to put a bigger picture in place and imagine what would be considered valuable in 10 years, in 20 years, in a century. 🙏 Thank you Mate Rimac for bringing back beauty and aesthetic back to their true origins. Happy weekend everyone and don't forget to enjoy the pictures and videos. Apparently, we will have to wait a little bit more for the car itself...😆 #beauty #aesthetic #timeless #design #bugatti #tourbillon #advice #entrepreneurship
Out of this world - the Peugeot Oxia! Named after a region on Mars dubbed "Oxia Palus", the Peugeot Oxia was shown off to the world at the 1988 Paris Motor Show. It was designed at the La Garenne Research Center as a lightweight, powerful concept (for the time). Showing off their prowess to design something substantial for the road. Gérard Welter developed the carbon kevlar body and an aluminum honeycomb chassis. While on the inside, Peugeot designers equipped the Oxia with several creature comforts that were seen in cars of this performance at the time. The Oxia came equipped with a Twin Turbo 2.8L PRV V6 making 670hp and 535lb-ft of torque. Substantial for the time. That power was driven to all 4 wheels via a 6-Speed Manual Gearbox. It had a claimed 2.6 sec 0-60mph and a top speed of 217mph. Jean-Philippe Vittecocq piloted the Oxia to that top speed result. Though, Peugeot only expected it to do around 186mph. Imagine their surprise. A car ahead of its time. Only two examples were made in total. One example being preserved at the Peugeot Museum, while the other example was sold at auction in 2009 and is said to be in the US. #peugeot #oxia #concept #supercar #performance #speed #france 🇫🇷 #Anis_Maaouia
