I created a new project under TIA V15.1 with the reference of the PLC CPU 1215C DC/DC/DC; 215-1AG40-0XB0 with latest version V4.3

From the project tree's ONLINE ACCESS, find your PLC and go online with the diagnostics with it using v15.1 (or higher).  On the first diagnostics screen you will see the portal version used to load the currently running project.

On the other hand, I created a project called 'test' without inserting the PLC reference then I clicked ONLINE and then LOAD DEVICE AS NEW STATION (HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE).

At the moment I detected the CPU 1215C DCDCDC and the DISPLAY in the network, but when I clicked on LOAD in order to load the hardware and software configuration of the PLC, I saw the following error: Action interrupted before charging the device.

Now actually go online with the PC from there. Otherwise, you get nothing useful - unless you are trying to describe available fields once someone goes online with a PLC from the Online access area.

The version the CPU was configured with, can be seen online. Establish an online connection -> General Tab -> "Version of TIA portal project".In this field, the TIA version is shown the CPU was configured.

I right-clicked on the configured PLC 1215C DCDCDC then I clicked on online and diagnostic but I cannot access the PLC, there is an error. see attached file including image FILE1 for the error.

But:As far as i remeber, this field is only shown, if at least TIA V14 was used. If this field is empty (or not shown at all), it was an older TIA version.

I again right-clicked on the configured PLC 1215C DCDCDC then I clicked on online connection but I cannot access the PLC, there is still the same error. see attached file including SCREEN1 image for error
