A great option for Duke of Edinburgh’s Award expeditions, the Aqua has an Anthrofit™ ergonomically shaped back system to maximise carry comfort and a waterproof Dry System™ lining which keeps gear within the main compartment dry.

It has all the features I wanted and seems to be well designed. Lots of adjustments for different body sizes, additional water proof internal cover, as well as an external cover, so hopefully will keep contents dry in downpour. Have not used for a long hike yet, but feels comfortable.

A good starter pack, after using it on a few trips certain issues become noticeable. For starters, there are two openings into the main bag, both of which are quite narrow if you're putting something bulky in the bag like a large sleeping bag or something. The bag also narrows the further up you go then seems to widen again which makes it difficult to put things in sometimes. Did a few hikes using it and after a while it does start to take its toll on your back, more expensive packs I have used have proven much more comfortable over prolonged use. A good pack for first time and very cheap

The ruck sack is exactly what I expected. It has plenty of pockets and good sized side ones which I find really handy. I haven’t used it yet so I can’t comment on comfort but it seems well padded.

I packed and attached 26kgs of equipment from this rucksack. Plenty of hang off points, straps and very comfortable to wear on a rugged hike and camp in the Cairngorms. Adjustable to suit small, medium and large builds with plenty padding on the shoulder straps. Perfect for my needs as you always adapt to the bag. For sure i abuse it more than its designed for but its been on five hiking / camping trips with no issues.
