CareFusion has faced uphill battles with the Alaris line. In August 2012 the FDA slapped the Alaris model 8100 infusion pump recall with Class I status, determining that a door keypad overlay could lead to a keypad malfunction.

Much like many other Logitech headsets, the power button, volume control, assignable ‘G’ button and charging port are all found across the underside of the earcups, whilst the adjustable microphone is attached to the left earcup.

The company also faced regulatory problems in July of 2012 with its AirLife infant breathing device, prompting CareFusion to add $7 million to its "recall reserve."

Setting up the Logitech G533 is done by connecting the USB dongle (included with the headset) to your PC. The wireless headset works at a range of 17 to 20 metres, whilst the battery life holds for up to 15 hours straight with a single charge. The voice quality of the Logitech G533’s microphone is also satisfying. The microphone comes equipped with a noise-cancelling and micro pop filter that delivers your voice clearly and crisply, with less breathing noise. You can easily adjust the microphone and bend it closer to your mouth, if needed. Sidetone also helps you hear your sound levels in your headset and helps to let you know if you’re being too loud or quiet. Like the other headsets from Logitech, you can create your own custom sound profiles, assign functions to the the ‘G’ button and check on the battery life using Logitech gaming software.

CareFusion discovered the issue through post-market surveillance of the Alaris systems, according to the warning, which was also noted by Hong Kong regulators at the time.
