Other than on matchdays, the stadium has free parking for customers and visitors in our St Andrew’s Road and Town Avenue Car Parks.
The feedback from schools and manufacturers has been nothing but positive on all aspects of the day. We just managed the catering for 70 with nothing much wasted at the end so that was good. The team were absolutely brilliant and please do pass on my thanks to them all for their help in making it such a good event.
For visitors with Blue Badges, dedicated parking is available. There are 38 designated bays in total, with 17 offering wider spaces and lowered access. The car park itself provides step-free access to the stadium via a footbridge over the River Colne.

The stadium itself prioritises accessibility. Upon arrival, clear signage guides you towards accessible entrances. Inside the stadium, there are 399 designated easy-access and amenity seats spread across every stand. These can be requested when booking your tickets through the Ticket Office.
By car, the stadium is easily accessible from the M62 and M1 motorways, and if you’re heading here by bus – Huddersfield Bus Station is a short distance away, with buses 202 and 203 stopping just a 5-minute walk from the stadium.
Situated just on the outskirts of Huddersfield town centre, The John Smith’s Stadium is well-connected by road and rail. Coming from Leeds or Manchester? The journey by train is a breeze, taking roughly 20 and 30 minutes respectively.
