Tonight's concert is focused on music and motion—SFCM’s theme for the 2020-21 academic year. Music director Edwin Outwater conducts the SFCM Orchestra, and Alexander Gedeon, emerging stage director who’s worked at LA Opera, San Diego Opera, and with Yuval Sharon at the LA Phil, directs Julius Eastman's "Stay On It." Also on the program are Stravinsky's "Pulcinella Suite" and Francesco Geminiani's "La Follia" (arr. Michi Wiancko).
