An ultrasound is usually performed externally, on the outside of the body. During your scan, a transducer is passed over a body part using a translucent gel. Sound waves bounce off different parts of the body and are passed back to a computer and then the computer turns these sound waves into highly detailed images.

Clearance items and some other specified products are considered FINAL SALE and are not eligible for return unless defective. See Return Exceptions for a list of exclusions.

There is not any pain associated with an ultrasound scan however, the translucent gel can often be a cool temperature on the skin.
