APC batteries are expected to last three to five years but should not be stored "off-charge" for extended periods of time, preferably no longer than 6 months as this will reduce the life cycle of the UPS battery. Modern UPS systems have a low-battery alarm that should alert you when the battery is running out. When this occurs you’ll need to order a replacement from the APC UPS battery selection below, but a more pro-active approach to battery maintenance is recommended and best practice is to plan to replace the batteries in your UPS every 3-4 years.

You will find this on the back of the UPS on a white sticker or if you have the network card connected you should be able to get this from the web interface.
